  Do you watch for people you know?

  i do.. i come here everyday hoping to see someone new that i know.

  maybe family, possibly friends.. hell, i wouldn't mind seeing people i wasn't all that close with.. i hope one day i'll come here and find my sisters or my nephews or nieces or cousins ..... or some good friends that i miss...... .

  Recession Coming?

  every year john mitchell (the head economist for u.s.bank) gives a talk to us realtors, in portland or.

  he talks first about the world economy, then the u.s.a. and ends up with oregon's economy ....he usually is right on.

  he perdicted housing prices peeking the third quarter of "06" he this came to pass.

  What has Changed the most? This board or your perspective?

  we seem to go thru 'phases' here of 'i'm leaving because the board is changing' threads.

  there is certainly a microcosm of social-evolution involved with any structured community, and that evolution may create in certain people a need to 'move on' [though often they are back rather soon after].. my assumption is though - in looking at the past threads and social environment here - that not much has really changed.

  there seems to be a flux of energetic change at times.

  My perspective.

  I would like to add, in a positive way.

  There were many times I thought, this place is this or that, and I've expressed such views.

  And I would take a break. And live a little. Experience things some more.

  And come back and see things in a different light, then I have gone back and reread things that at one time ticked me off, but now I can understand better the thoughts that were being expressed. I could elaborate but that would probably take all day...
